Please read 2 Corinthians 5:1–10 Paul lacked staying power. Strange though it may seem, this accusation was levelled at the apostle by his detractors, a group of power-hungry people within the church which Paul himself had founded at Corinth. His response was to insist that he had not thrown in the towel. No one could reproach him with having lost the will to take the spiritual battle right into the strongholds of the enemy. He had not lost heart (4:16).
